One last Fall Fair meeting for 2025 – you can join!

Yes, plans are already in place for Peachland’s 107th Fall Fair – and if you want to be part of the fun, show up October 29, 7pm at the community centre’s banquet room.

Email the Fall Fair if you have any questions

October 29 is an important meeting because it’s the AGM. And if you’re new, you can find what the Fall Fair is all about!

Here is a message from 2025 Fall Fair president Linda Schneider:

The dust has finally settled after the zucchini races at our 106th Fall Fair in Peachland.  What a great event, and already our sponsor has asked to do it again!  How great is that!  We thank Kelowna Truck and RV for their participation, and Jordan, the Emcee was terrific, and hope he wants the challenge again next year.

The Peachland Fall Fair had a great weekend, and we consider it very successful. The Scarecrow competition had a dozen scarecrows placed throughout the Main Hall and entrance of the Community Centre, and the winner, as chosen by the public, was  Porto Peach.  We thank all those organizations and businesses who contributed to this very popular event.

The Pie & Tea seemed to go over extremely well, to the point that the Peach pie sold out early on Saturday – seems to be the most popular pie!  Maybe next year we should only have two kinds?  Would love feedback on that idea from the public.

The fruit, vegetables, and flowers were in abundance this year, and we couldn’t be happier and more proud of all the entries.  Thank you to all those who entered in any of our Sections, and congratulations to all who won a prize.  We had record entries in the Juniors Section and hope more Juniors are inspired to enter in the future.

Did you have your picture taken at the Photoboard just outside the main door?  If you have a photo of that activity, send it to us at info@peachlandfallfair.ca.

The PFF committee wants to thank the local restuarants who put on a daily special for the fall fair weekend.  We hope you had a chance to take advantage of that opportunity.

We had terrific young entertainers this year, and were very proud of their performances.  Jessi of Skale Skool brought her exotic critters, and the kids loved having their picture taken with one of the many snakes, or the Tortoise, or Bearded Dragon.  So much fun!  I personally have to thank Jessi for teaching me a few things about snakes and helping me conquer some of my fear.  I even touched them, which is huge for me.  Thank you Jessi.

Last, but definitely not least, thank you to the fifty plus volunteers who participated in putting on the fair, which wouldn’t happen without their help.  We are a lucky organization to have such a great, caring and fun group of volunteers who stick with us year after year.  Thank you everyone!

Our AGM for this year is October 29th, at the Community Centre at 7:00 pm and anyone is welcome to attend.  A new executive will be voted in and plans will start for next years fair.

See you in September!

Linda Schneider

In 2025, The Peachland Fall Fair committee decided to sponsor The Peachland Phoenix. In exchange for advertising funds that directly supports local news, the Phoenix wrote a series of Fall Fair stories, covered both days of the event and provided additional photos for volunteers to use in future promotions. The Fall Fair’s display advertising appeared on the Home page, events page and advertising page for 2025 + email newsletters. The Phoenix thanks the Peachland Fall Fair for their support of our town’s only source of journalism!

The Peachland Lions and Peachland Wellness Centre are two other groups who are Peachland Phoenix sponsors…
