Hands that Harvest, Hearts that Craft – that’s the theme for this year’s Peachland Fall Fair. At 107 years strong,This is Peachland’s longest-running event!

Here’s a new message from Fall Fair president Linda Schneider:
Well Gardeners, Photographers, Bakers, and Crafters, are you getting ready to enter our 107th fall fair coming up in September?
Our booklet of all the fair details will be out by the end of the week. You can pick up a copy at Sunday’s Peachland Market, or starting July 1st at several other locations. Those will be posted June 30th. You can find all the information on our website at peachlandfallfair.ca as well.
Our Zucchini Races will be even bigger this year, and on Saturday, September 12th there will be a workshop starting at 2 o’clock where you can get a free zucchini, kindly supplied by Paynters. Pick up a wheel kit for $2. at the workshop or at the Fall Fair table at this Sunday’s market, and every second Sunday after that until August 23rd. There will be a small practice track at the workshop, help with balancing your wheels and some embellishments for your car if you need them.
Since it is Grandparents Day there will be a special race category Grandparent and Grandchild. So get your artistic side in action, and let’s see what you can do.
We have a talented lineup of young musicians again, performing throughout the Fair. The admission fee is worth the opportunity to listen to some very accomplished artists.
Lots of entertainment for the kids- face painting, getting a fun photo at our photo board, petting an exotic animal, or entering our special coloring contest with very special prizes. This contest is open to two age groups: 5 to 8 and 9 to 12. We will be announcing when the coloring contest starts and you will be able to download the picture from our website or pick up a copy at the Sunday Market starting in July. Watch for more information on the f/b groups.
The Pie and Tea will again be available, and this year we are offering strawberry/rhubarb, Saskatoon berry (yes, you read right), and of course peach pie, along with tea or coffee.
This Sunday, June 28th we will be at the market and have Raffle tickets for sale. Three prizes, all cash, 1st is $500, 2nd is $300, and 3rd is $100. Tickets are selling for $5, so stop at our table and talk to the volunteers. They will be very happy to sell you a ticket.
For more information go to our website at peachlandfallfair.ca or contact us at peachlandfallfair@gmail.com
