The walking, riding, strolling, running officially started today – but you can still sign up for the Peachland Wellness Centre Walk for Wellness, a major annual fundraiser for this local non-profit.
I just missed Saturday’s send off of runners, but I found some PWC volunteers waiting for them! The June 7 kick-off was also sponsored by VantageOne credit union and A&W, who provided breakfast.
You can still register a team and challenge others – or make a personal goal to walk as much as possible. Donate to the PWC and you’ll be helping Peachland seniors programs and outreach. More info on the PWC website.
