Join us for a thrilling celebration at the Peachland Riding Club’s Canada Day Races, happening from June 28–30! This year’s event promises to be our biggest and best yet, featuring exciting horse competitions, a variety of festivities, and attractions for all ages.

Event Highlights:

• Horse Competitions: Witness thrilling barrel racing and pole bending action as cowboys and cowgirls navigate their horses around a cloverleaf pattern at speed. The fastest time wins, but competitors better not knock over a barrel!
• Prizes and Awards: With $1000 added to the Open competitions on Saturday and Sunday, plus numerous other cash prizes, there’s plenty at stake. Special side-pots, like the $1000 CBHI and $2500 Western Fortunes, add even more excitement.
• Evening Festivities: Enjoy live music, dancing, and a beer garden as part of the evening entertainment. Saturday night promises additional fun with races and other engaging activities starting approximately at 7:00 PM.
• Food and Refreshments: Indulge in delicious treats from our on site food truck.

Event Schedule:

• Friday: 7:00 PM start
• Saturday and Sunday: 9:30 AM start
• Saturday Evening Festivities: Approximately 5:00 PM start

For over 55 years, the Peachland Riding Club has been a cornerstone of our community, passionately promoting equestrian sports since 1969. Our non-profit society, driven by dedicated volunteers and generous sponsors, has been a hub for riders of all levels, offering a supportive environment to learn and thrive.

We’re thrilled to introduce new additions this year, such as buckles in Pole Bending D’s, a Novice division for newer horse/rider combos, and a special “Never Won a Buckle” side pot. And you won’t want to miss this year’s “Dolly Parton” fun race!
