Have you checked out the trains at the museum lately?

Dave Winter, as many of you know, is the small-scale engineer behind the setup on the second floor of the Peachland museum.

“The Central Okanagan Railway Company has been hard at it all winter preparing the trains for the tourist season,” he says.

“Well, they’re not all tourists – a great many local moms and dads make a point of coming in every time they’re in town with the kids.”

It really is an attraction for any age – and this Family Day, the museum is hosting a special event. Refreshments will be served, and Dave and other members of the Company will be there, and happy to answer any questions. Dave is an accomplished miniaturist, too. Look at the details!
