Remembrance Day, 2021

 

At least 300 people gathered around the cenotaph (well, a metal fence set up around it) and listened as the Legion’s Jean Saul spoke. There’s something about our town’s ceremony: When you can hear the lake and the flyover and the crowd is silent, it’s absolutely a moment to reflect and remember..
