Peachland Rec shuts down pickleball, fitness programs & exercise room because of new COVID rules
This is an email sent to all Peachland Recreation customers December 21. I’ll just copy and paste here:
Today (Dec 21), BC’s Public Health Officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry, announced new COVID-19 restrictions closing all gyms, fitness centres, and fitness programs. The order takes effect tomorrow, Wednesday, December 22. It is scheduled to last until January 18th at the earliest.
We are closing all fitness programs, Pickleball, and the Fitness Room starting tomorrow morning. Over the coming weeks, our administrative team will begin processing credits on account for the cancelled classes. If you would prefer, we can also provide refunds for the missed portions of classes, or if you would like to fully withdraw, the entirety of the upcoming session. To request a refund, please email rec-clerk@peachland.ca. As we have a high volume of transactions and a reduction of staff, we ask your patience in this process.
We apologise for this interruption to our programs and look forward to welcoming you back in the New Year.
