According to Central Okanagan Emergency Operations, the wildfire threat in the Marantha area is over. One house has been lost, but crews – from Peachland, Kelowna, West Kelowna, Joe Rich + BC Wildfire Service managed to prevent the blaze from spreading any further. Officials say the area is now safe for the public.
