Haven’t had your first dose? Mobile COVID vaccination clinic coming to Peachland

Just saw the press release come in – if you haven’t had your first dose of the COVID vaccine, you can show up at Cousins Park (behind the community centre) this Wednesday, June 9 and Thursday June 10 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Interior Health is travelling to ‘rural and remote communities’ through these mobile immunization clinics, which are taking place throughout the province to provide first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine to eligible people age 12 and up.

I spoke to Christina MacMaster at the Wellness Centre about this earlier:

“People don’t actually need to have appointments, they just come and get their first dose and they can register right there on site,” she said.

“They’re trying to get as many people immunized as possible.”
