Blog: A new hike – and more new subscribers!

Looks like the rain has let up! These pics are from about 24 hours ago – we hiked Goats Peak for the first time. Won’t lie, this wasn’t high on my to-do list because of that right turn you have to make off Drought Hill at Seclusion Bay Rd. But if you haven’t been, it’s definitely worth going (it’s almost 130 acres and opened last September). It’s relatively flat (with hilly options), a nice wide pathway and it’s cool seeing a new view of our lake.

Speaking of new, we have more subscribers! Thanks for signing up – every email really does make me smile. Word of mouth means a lot, and I’m hearing some positive feedback about how I’m approaching this business. Yes, the model is different – and oh yes, I have a lot to learn & I have definitely messed up (I did with a customer yesterday).

But today is today. I’m working on a couple more business profiles, and tomorrow, I’m talking to one of my favourite Peachlanders for a feature story. Always more to come, and again, THANK YOU for reading!
